Sweet basil, yes! If you haven’t played with this one, you are missing out! I have toyed with this flavor for the last two days now, and run the range in my 10ml bottles, like usual, 1, 3 and 5 drops, just got giggles! Do not use basil in 10ml with more than 3 drops, just don’t!

First impressions, cool, sweet but spicy, rather impressive! I can see this is varied fruits, creamy nuts and tobaccos. 1 drop (.02grams) is a bit week, 3 is pushing it, so stick with 2 drops in a blended recipe. Trust me, you will enjoy this, even with a name like basil!

Strawberry Spiced Cheesecake 30ml

9 drops .18 grams Cheesecake
4 drops .08 grams Basil
4 drops .08 grams Brie
4 drops .08 grams Yogurt
2 drops .04 grams Alpine strawberry

Let sit for 2 days and then test it out. Remember to shake very very good, every so often while it sits and mingles.. it will love you long time!

Lime Fuzzy 30ml

6 drops .12 grams Lime Wedge
6 drops .12 grams Cool Menthol
4 drops .08 grams Basil
4 drops .08 grams Yogurt
1 drops .02 grams Cucumber

Let sit over night after a quick mix up.. It really did turn out well, surprisingly.. I tried this out maybe 3 hours after mixing, and I bet mine won’t last thru tonight! 🙂 Your taste might vary, but I enjoy this.
You might want to add in some type of orange or citrus flavor too.

Who doesn’t like a good banana? Ha! Thousands of ideas run thru my head on this one! From cookies, pies, milkshakes, ice cream, and desserts, this cool and wacky flavor has a place with them all. Let me tell you how I played with this one, mixing it up like I do in 10ml bottles, and running it from 1 drop, .02 grams up to 10 drops .20 grams. The experience is just as amazing from a solo to mixed recipe blends.

Not knowing how it would play, I started testing low, grabbed the 1 drop after a few days of sitting, faint banana, with something in the background. Nice, if it was a bit stronger so I took the 3 drops in 10, and definitely all there! Still, the back note was there, a bit stronger, almost like a smoked effect. After a break with coffee and some cookies, I decided to try the 5 drops, and got a in my face banana with a skin, a ripened skin. Took me a bit to recognize that, as I don’t eat bananas often and I really do not eat skins!! (ha!) However, on thinking now, I think it was those “nanner skin strings” not exactly the skin part, and those string pieces taste just like what I taste on the banana. Sweet banana taste, yummers!! So I really haven’t pushed this flavor too hard, I went for the 7 drops in 10ml, and yes there it was, a chemical taste, not unpleasant, but there. The 10 drops however, the chemical effect was fading out. So a good 5 drops at 10ml was perfect for a solo taste.  On to my recipe!

Banana Candy 30ml

9 drops .18 grams Banana
12 drops .24 grams  Cream
3 drops .06 grams  Sour Pucker
3 drops .06 grams FLV Sweetness
1 drop .02 grams  Candy Roll

Taste just like Runt’s Banana! If you like candy, you will love this! 🙂
Let it sit up for 2 days and then enjoy, not responsible for empty bottles!

Arabian Tobacco

The recipes I can create from this gorgeous tobacco, Arabian. Let me stop for a second; when I first received this tobacco, and opened it up, oh my! Musky, dark rich tobacco hit my nose, with almost a caramel after taste, I had tried this at 1 drop (per 30ml) 3, 5, 7 and 9. I remember it very vividly. I mixed them all up as solos and let sit a week. What I found was one drop wasn’t enough, 3 was extremely light, but it was there!!  Five drops and it was a light smoke, with hints of things I just couldn’t catch! Seven drops and it was a medium smoke, more vague hints, I almost want to say some sort of fruit, caramels. Nine drops and it had a taste I really just didn’t care for at all, almost perfumy!

I didn’t get the nuts (peanuts?) in the Flavorah’s image, but it was sort of nutty, and if I added a touch of peanut butter, it seemed to bring out the nutty in it a bit better. Coconut is fantastic with this. I added a touch of Bourbon, and it loved it too!! I tried adding milk & honey and it was just too much with the caramelly <such a word? ha! back tones this tobacco carries. Which led me to believe I needed something to break that background note up a bit, and I picked lime wedge to do that. Perfect! In fact, some say arabian tobacco comes close to a camel cigarette; not by a long shot. but when using the lime to tame the caramel background, its a bit closer, but its still darker than a camel smoke. It’s just too heavy as a solo to taste like camel. However! it can be a very light background note in a recipe for camel!

Before I get to my recipe.. this is what people use to smoke arabian tobacco, out of a midwakh. I find it interesting, as it is a small toking pipe, as the arabian tobacco is very fine, heavy and dense all at the same time, just like this flavor Flavorah has for us to play with! 🙂

So you can see, just a tiny bit can be used at a time. Take that as a hint to work with this flavor and you will go far!

Now onto Kamel! 30ml

4 drops .08 grams Arabian Tobacco
8 drops .16 grams Turkish Tobacco
3 drops .06 grams Virginia Tobacco
3 drops .06 grams Lime Wedge
3 drops .06 grams Cream
2 drops .04 grams Peanut butter**Optional!

Now about this recipe and how it all came about, and why I am releasing this one. First, when I started mixing, I went from a kit kat bar recipe, onto additives and nets. I had this one net tobacco I mixed and it tastes just like a camel! so I looked hard at the tobaccos I used, and flipped it into a recipe for us all.. as with nets, if you aren’t careful, there are things you can’t see with a naked eye that can cause issues, like botulism. There are more issues with nets, but this isn’t the place to discuss that. 😉 Meantime.. if you know someone that likes a good tobacco recipe, have them try this one. I have more and will share when I am able!

Apple Pop

Gee, Apple Pop. This is in my opinion, this flavor I never ever expected to turn out the way it has. As a solo, eh.. if you like sweet and tart apple peels, this is your taste, not mine. However, don’t toss the apple out the cooler because I am not a big fan; you might like this, just as a solo, its limping along. I guess I expected a apple soda or a candied apple. Will keep this short and sweet, heading on to the recipe I made with this one.. 😉

*edited… I used 9 drops .18 grams and then 18 drops .36 grams in a 10ml and both I just was not a fan of.. it could be allergies that have kicked in, or just me.. I don’t know.

Candied Apple Pops 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Green Apple
12 drops .24 grams Apple Pop
6 drops .12 grams Red Apple
3 drops .06 grams Butterscotch
3 drops .06 grams Caramel
3 drops .06 grams Cream
1 drop .02 grams Candy Roll

You could add in malic and citric acid, some vanillin, maybe a light touch of kentucky bourbon, or even white chocolate, there are a lot of options if you think on this flavor that tastes like red apple peels.  🙂

The outcome with this, a candied apple with hints of dulce de leche, after a 2 day sit time. Sweet, but tart with the apple pop. Left to sit for week, it’s beautiful and does change my respect for the apple pop flavor. However, as a solo, apple pop won’t do it for me. I tried. 🙂

Apple Filling

Apple filling, what to do with it? Make pies, or.. you could make cookies, milkshakes, even fill in your nuts and tobaccos! This apple filling is so versatile. and ready to go, even with a touch of ap (that bready note stuff! ) and a bit of cookie and crunch cereal, will make the best pie crust you have ever tasted! The cinnamon used here is perfect, not too heavy or too light, and its almost like you can eat this stuff right out the glass jar your Nana used to store away, at apple season time!

I have a few hints tips and tricks with this one, so before I go slinging out a recipe, let me tell you what all I have discovered with this flavor. Hint #1, it builds a good pie crust. Hint #2, it helps along with banana with said pie crust, add yogurt to apple filling, and it turns close to a sweet tart, depending on how much yogurt, too much and it will just be apple filling gurt.. haha! Hint #3, used with citrus in nuts and tobaccos, it can add in a good taste, good body and mouth feel, as well as lighten up hard tobaccos. Hint #4 with nuts, it adds a glossy feel and taste texture. Hint #5 used with caramels and butterscotch coconut and citrus, can brighten up your mix, instead of having a flat type taste, it can boost up boring profiles. Now with all this knowledge.. what to toss out from my huge stack of recipes?

Let’s go with… Apple filling beer nut sticky buns, or as I call it, icky sticky! 😛 Don’t worry, nothing will stick to anything, but your tongue!

Icky Sticky 30ml

8 drops .16 grams Apple Filling
8 drops .16 grams Custard
6 drops .12 grams Beer Nuts
6 drops .12 grams Fried Dough
3 drops .06 grams Banana
3 drops .06 grams Sweet Coconut
1 drops .02 grams Bourbon**Optional!

And there you have it, the Icky Sticky! If you mix this one, please let it at least sit up over night, playing with itself and blending nicely.. Do not microwave, or any other speed steeping techniques. This flavor will grow and become the best thing since sliced bread! and thank Nana when you get a chance 😉 My mom used to make these for me growing up on Sunday mornings.. It was a favorite brunch “thang” besides her french toast.. <3 🙂

Apple Cranberry

Apple Cranberry doesn’t go well with coffee in the morning! Good thing I finished my coffee before trying this one out! I ran my bottles, from 3 drops .06 grams to 15 drops .30 grams (all 10ml bottles) and you would know, I picked up the one with 9 drops this morning and put it on my dripper! Just for giggles. Kind of glad I did it that way, as the flavor that hits me the most is cranberry, then the apple. Not saying bad at all, just expected the apple to say hi first. Tart, yes please, but it’s also a sweet taste, gorgeous really. I can see this in bunches of recipes like with other mixed fruits, tobaccos and creams.

I’d think this would really be more appreciated in the fall, right around Halloween thru Valentine’s day. Light but with full body, and I might even take this up a touch higher, say  around 12, but no higher than that. The aftertaste has left me hungry for the apples I have sitting on my counter. I was going to make apple cranberry chutney, as a vape, however, I have a craving for oatmeal cookies, so cookies it is, and my chutney recipe is a bit more advanced. I want to keep things simple for now, so you too must like my cookies! 🙂 Without waiting more.. here is…

Apple Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies! (trust me, you will love this!)

12 drops .24 grams Apple Cranberry
6 drops .12 grams Oatmeal Raisin
6 drops .12 grams Cheesecake
3 drops .06 grams Banana
3 drops .06 grams Yogurt

Now for what I think of this one.. it’s not a in your face, isn’t meant to be. If you want to raise up the taste, do it in increments of 2 drops only! Pushed too far, this will turn chemically. It’s also why if you keep things low, the flavor will grow on you, it wont take long to steep, and the way I have it, it’s good enough for me! In 3 days, once it’s had time to sit and mingle, it tastes like a good cookie with some fluffy bits, and the apple cranberry and raisin are all happy in my tank. I think I might take this one out to paint my porch today!

Try it out, spin it around and see what you think! You might want to add a dash of blood orange to this mix, to make the fruits pop out even more! There are other add ins you can do, but for now, this is a simple cookie recipe! 🙂

Apple Cider

Even near summer, apple cider can really hit the spot! I was toying with this beautiful flavor this morning, and just got in a new set up. Yes, I added it into my new rdta and omg, I picked the right one with the perfect amount, just for me! 🙂

First, the tank I picked was the limitless, and wow I am just a big huge cloud chucker with this bad boy! It’s hazy here, full of this cool flavor, and I am so loving it! I used the bottle with 12 drops (.24 grams 10ml) and it’s just a solo, in your face, straight up apple cider! The things I can mix up with this one, and yes I will tell you! I see drinks galore, and apple cider cookies and cream, I see it liven up plain fruits, and I might even toss some in a few of my nuts and tobacco recipes! This is the bomb!

The recipe I have is something I did just 2 hours ago, and so far, even after 2 hours, adding it to my tank, it’s just as gorgeous! 🙂 I can’t wait for it to steep out! here it is, hurry up and mix it with me and leave some feed back, eh? You know I like that kind of thing!

Peach Cider Float

6 drops .12 grams Apple Cider
9 drops .18 grams Peach
2 drops .04 grams Banana
6 drops .12 grams Cream

If you want it chilly, add 4 drops cool menthol, frozen, go up to 6, but wait a few days to do this and let the flavors play and get happy together. This does require at least 2 days for it to all come together!

If you try this one, give a shout and let me know how you like it.. S.

Fresh, with this apple, I thee bite! Ha! Tastes just like it came straight from the orchard, but not a red, green or granny smith. I took the run I normally make, and did a few 10ml bottles up, starting at 3, 6, 9, 12, and 16 bottle drops.

Now for the taste, absolutely the best! It took me 9 bottle drops or .18 grams to really get a good taste of it, almost something else with it, a citrus back note. At 12 drops, the flesh turns up, really nice! Almost to the point I have juice running down my mouth, the skin is there, and I don’t taste any apple seeds. 12 drops is spot on! 16 drops pushed it to where it started getting chemically on me, and I really did not care for it at all! Remember, for each of my drops, I get .02 grams, so at .18 grams, I was in the apple zone!

Now for a quick recipe, as I do have painting to finish up today..

Apple Juice

9 drops .18 grams Apple
6 drops .12 grams Marshmallow
2 drops .04 grams Coconut

This is all you need to make a good Juice box type drink vape! Yeps! See the marshmallow helps with the body, and the coconut, yes, you have to use the coconut, it brings out the “liquidy” feel of the juice, do not skimp or sub out! Now.. if you want a cold juice, go ahead and add 3-6 drops of cool menthol, and shake really good when you add your base. Let it sit up over night, and you too can cruise down the street, vaping on your apple juice!

Make sure to wave at me when you go by! 🙂

More apple reviews later tonight, if I can.. if not, tomorrow morning..

Alpine Strawberry

French King Charles V used to love his alpine strawberry plants, as they are one of the oldest strawberries in the world.  The plants are very ornamental. They form attractive green mounds with white blossoms staring out above the foliage from atop thin flower stalks. The neat, compact habit of non-running alpine strawberries makes them ideal for edgings. However, they are not the most ideal, due to how little they produce. The fruits taste like cotton until dead ripe. When they are ready for harvest, the fruits become so aromatic a single ripe berry perfumes the air all around the plant. It’s a fragrance that rivals the most intoxicating of flowers. At this stage the fruit is so soft it almost crushes when picked. They show up in different colors, the typical strawberry red, the whites, and the yellows; all alpines are just fantastic!

Flavorah’s Alpine Strawberry, just hits the spot, so no matter how many strawberries you can find and eat, from the bottle, it’s just a perfect strawberry. Using a drop per 10ml, it’s super heavy, rich in flavor. Some use it extremely light, while others I have seen, use it heavy handed, 6%, even 10% and wonder why the flavor isn’t right. Easy does it with this one, even 1% is just too much! My use is different, I do go a bit heavy with it, but I love it that way. The most I will ever use is 3 bottle drops (.06 grams) in a 30ml/1 ounce bottle. I have made so many different recipes with Alpine Strawberry because it is the first flavor I fell in love with! Thanks to Flavorah, I always keep a bottle around.. 🙂

So onto the recipes! The first one is very simple!

Alpine Strawberry Mouse

Alpine Strawberry Mousse 30ml

3 drops .06 grams Alpine Strawberry
6 drops .12 grams Cream
6 drops .12 grams Vanilla Pudding
3 drops .06 grams White Chocolate

Very simple mix, ready in a few days.. tasty, fun and quickly gone!

and my next one.. again, Alpine is fun to work with, as long as you keep it low!!

Strawberry Napoleons
Alpine Strawberry Napoleon

3 drops .06 grams Alpine Strawberry
6 drops .18 grams Cream
6 drops .18 grams Custard
6 drops .18 grams Vanilla Pudding
3 drops .06 grams Crunch Cereal
6 drops .18 grams Macaroon
3 drops .06 grams Sweet Dough
3 drops .06 grams Sweetener
3 drops .06 grams Vicious Vanillin

This one is a fun, light strawberry filled cross between a pastry and cookie. Easy on the tongue, and will make you drain your bottle, so bottoms up! 🙂

The reason why Alpine Strawberry is so high in cost is due to the compounds needed to create it. Just like the fruit, it’s how little they produce in aromas.. so don’t freak out and have regrets, at least snag a little bottle. You will be glad you did. A little bot goes a long long way.

What is the acai flavor good for? Today’s first topic, the acai berry, is a cross between a grape and a blueberry. It’s a purple berry, with lots of good flavor, and eating the real berry, is very good for you. Health claims galore, but what can it do for your eliquid?

Well, at least one popular juice creator has used it, Space Jam‘s Andromeda, for one, as a hidden flavor in their blueberry pomegranate juice. This flavor will go nicely with other blue berry types or even red berries. Pairing with chocolates, for me, washes out that tiny bit of chocolate you get, if you are using it too high! Yes, people do tend to lean hard on this flavor, and acai is supposed to be a medium type.. never harsh! and when it’s taken to the extreme, that chocolate bit does pop out, every time! (ie: anything over 2.5% is just too much!) Use a cream with it, nuts or even tobaccos, to lend a helping hand to them and allow the other bits to become boldly razzed up!.

For me tho, I wanted to make a good recipe with it, something natural, and would keep me happy for morning times. I tinkered and played with this one flavor over a few weeks, as I wanted to see just how it would play off with other types. I picked this final recipe, after a ton of others. I hope you will enjoy it.

Hawaii 5-0 Rainbows 30ml

9 drops .18 grams Acai
6 drops .12 grams Horchata
6 drops .12 grams Macaroon
6 drops .12 grams Red Raspberry*
6 drops .12 grams Strawberry
3 drops .06 grams Banana
3 drops .06 grams Blueberry
3 drops .06 grams Kiwi

I didn’t have a pomegranate in the FLV selection, so I changed it to red raspberry, and pretty happy I did. It’s still a razzy red berry, and will work with the rest of the fruits to maintain a good bright turnout for me. Why did I add Horchata? A few reasons, it smells too good, its a nice sweet cream and has spice! 🙂 My suggestion with this recipe is do let it sit for a few days, after the 3rd day it comes around really nice, and it’;s tempting to empty my juice bottle, but this one I see me hoarding for special occasions, not just a morning quick vape! 🙂

I hope I covered everything with the acai berry flavor, and if I left anything out, let me know. If you try my recipe, give me feedback and if you like it enough to share, please accredit me! 🙂
