Citrus Soda
Who does not like a good Citrus Soda? Iced, frosty glasses, full of mixed citrus bubbly soda?
Ok here is the issue. I pick up bubbles from Citrus Soda, yet I hear from others they do not. Puzzling, but eh.. I know what I taste, and that is almost like a Mountain Dew, or a Sun drop soda.. haha! I do not think it is close to a sprite, but if you do something like a .4% Citrus Soda and a 6% Brut Bubble Wine, it will put you closer in the ball park to a Sprite 🙂 Might want to add some sweetener to it too.. that Brut is dry!
I first tested it at a few drops.. around 3 drops in 10ml, but then I went 9 drops in 30ml.. which is like .18g/.18ml or rather… 0.60% haha!! Yeah I catch a lot of slack on my numbers.. I am a bit wacked like that! At .6% I can taste it.. at .8% is where I am comfy with using it as a pronounced flavor, and at 1% it tends to really fold out and create a tasty mix with helpers.
My most asked for recipe with Citrus Soda is this one.. for me, citrus soda helps to enliven the taste of the mix. I went with “red” flavors like black currents, and raspberries, and I added some melon for a smooth finish.. the soda brings the bubbles and makes everything just so good.. so here is a shout out to everyone that loves the Black Voodoo! This only needs a few days to steep but it also makes a good shake and vape too.. you just notice how it all settles in days of time, it only gets better! I do like to add .4% Ice and .2% Cool Menthol to mine.. I personally can not taste the cool menthol taste.. but the cool helps the ice to become more.. If you like it frosted, try adding .6% cream.. and enjoy a good vape, on me! 😀
