Cranberry flavors always remind me of parties, celebrations and holidays. Sweet but tart, from berry fruit to desserts, it’s a versatile flavor that can be very unexpected! A powerful pop in juices, or even desserts like apple pies! I used to love picking them for my grandmother to make her famous cranberry cookies, sort of like a jammed up cookie with pineapples and mandarins.. I miss those! Will have to make a batch super soon. I also miss my grandmother even more.

You can try testing them out from 2 drops .04 grams up to around 6 drops .12 grams in 10ml bottles, 8 drops .16 grams to me was just too much for my little 10ml, but expect to taste cranberry immediately! It does tend to get top note heavy when used with a heavy hand, so keep this one low and enjoy all the ranges of notes in this beautifully done flavor!

Berry Jello Shot! 30ml

9 drops .18 grams Cranberry
6 drops .12 grams Berry Blend
6 drops .12 grams Acai
6 drops .12 grams Cotton Candy
3 drops .06 grams Marshmallow

Bet you can’t keep it to one bottle! 😛 This is a fantastic bright red fruit mix, always refreshing! You could add in some cool menthol at 4 – 6 drops too.. Let it sit at least overnight, but best after 3 days..

Cherry Filling

Goodness, cherry filling is something else! If you use this, remember, it’s not really a solo flavor to be playing with, at least I found it to be in need of friends in the bottle! It really is a bold beautiful cherry filling, but go slow! I think my main issue with this one is I wanted it to be a solo. In order for that to happen, I had to put my taste buds to work and see what was going on with this.

I have a solid vape family, and we bounce ideas and taste notes all the time in private, and the one thing that keeps popping up in my head is one has a taste perception that this is something close to playdough. So to try and resolve this, I tried 1 drop in 30ml, as cherry is hard to work with, however I will just share my recipe and I know BonBon will see this one!

I personally like to use this flavor in a 30ml between 2 and 4 drops .02-.08 grams,  rainier cherry at 6 drops in a 30ml, and toss in some red raspberry around 3 drops .06 grams. Seems it tames it down a bit better for me, along with cotton candy 9 drops .18 grams and marshmallow at 6 drops .12 grams for a cherry cotton candy type..

Cherry Pie 30ml

6 drops .12 grams Rainier Cherry
3 drops .06 grams Cream
3 drops .06 grams Greek Yogurt
3 drops .06 grams Crunch Cereal
3 drops .06 grams Cookie
3 drops .06 grams Red Raspberry
3 drops .06 grams Vanilla Pudding
1 drops .02 grams Cherry Filling

It’s good after an overnight sit period, but a few days to 5, it’s truly magnificent! I never got the playdough or play clay smell or taste, but then we both probably do not eat drink and vape the same either.. but, I hope more speak up on this beautiful cherry filling and the things you like to do with it as well. It is strong, so start low and work up!

Cherimoya is the next flavor up for today. Honestly, if I listen to how it is like a custard with apple, the more I laugh! Yes you can taste an apple custard, if you have it up too high, for reals! However, when I tested this one particular flavor out, not sure why I did this, but I had my rda dripper coiled at .05 ohms, a semi loose coil, and I had my watts at 35, I didn’t get much of an apple custard type taste at all. I got a blend of light fruits like banana, pineapple, papaya, peach, and strawberry. I even think I might have had some persimmon in there too. Really tropical, juicy, not over done, just a bunch of good mixed fruits.. and if there was any custard in there, extremely light tasting. How did I come up with this? I used it at 6 drops .12 grams, in my 10ml bottle. Why? Because I want to test out how the flavor would taste, if someone with not much experience mixing, was playing with this gorgeous flavor.

I thought being as it was a lighter smelling flavor, I would start this one at 6 drops, and run it up to around 16 drops. I enjoyed the 6 drops, even as light as it is, but at 9 drops, I picked up even more of the mixed tropical fruit taste, not too bad at all, and keep thinking I need a larger bottle of this one, just to play with more. Here is the kicker, at 12 drops, I noticed some flavor change after a overnight sit. Was it bad? No, not really, but I could tell there was a flavor change upcoming. at 16 drops and in my tank on a .25 ohm, using 65 watts, there it is, more creamy custard, and I will be jiggly, the hints of apple.. hmm.. I ended up losing the bottle of 16 drops and found it a few days ago, not much change, but it was an apple custard, with the start of a funky background. The coolest thing I think, is the way the real fruit grows, sort of like an apple, but it’s a bit white, and big black seeds you can easy pick out. (Seeds aren’t good to eat!) So.. even tho I did up a simple recipe, I still want to tinker with this one. it made it to the get a bigger bottle to play with list!

Cherimoya Ice Cream

9 drops .18 grams Cherimoya
6 drops .12 grams Cream
3 drops .06grams Marshmallow

If you have any vanillin, add a bit here, but keep it low, as this is a very light flavor to begin with. I enjoy it just as it is, plain and simple is sometimes a really good change up!

Cool and refreshing, cantaloupe is one of my very favorites and holds a big spot in taste for me! As far as melon flavors, and depending on how you use this one, with or without mango, both have a way of adding body and a fabulous texture, along with great realistic tastes, if you keep it all within a best used range!

I had at one time a really good recipe called Beach Cone. It was an orange ice cream cone, like the kind you can get at the beach, with the hard shell type coating and the waffle cone taste, unbelievable. The secret is this, cantaloupe! I know its hard to believe that an orange ice cream can have a cantaloupe flavor in it, but this lent a good texture to the ice cream and bonded with the oranges I added in for the soft serve orange ice cream! I bet it would even work out with peaches!

I remember running tests on this one, as it was the next flavor I fell for, right after alpine strawberry! I ran at least 5 bottles of it, ranging from 1 drop .02 grams, 3 drops .06 grams, 6 drops .12 grams and 9 drops .18 grams, in a 10ml bottle. The first drop, very faint mellon, not really distinguishable as a cantaloupe, per say, but as a light mellon I wanted more! I snagged the 6 drops then, and omg.. juicy flavor just really to tickle my tongue and the ideas I had! I think I had cleared up my area, and even tho I labeled my bottles, a few weeks later I grabbed one (not looking, I always seem to try out things without reading what I did first!) and I went into shock! The recipe I had created, even tho it was a one try omg everyone has to have it, this amount I had used, was like a burnt mellon ready for the recycle bin! Do not think on pushing this flavor, it almost turned me off using it too high! Grateful it didn’t, as I have a bunch of  my recipes with “loupes” in them now. I make sure to keep a big bottle around these days.

Mixed up Cantaloupes 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Cantaloupe
6 drops .12 grams Strawberry
6 drops .12 grams Cream
6 drops .12 grams Greek Yogurt
3 drops .06 grams Acai
3 drops .06 grams Blueberry
3 drops .06 grams Basil
3 drops .06 grams Lime

Cool, refreshing with a hint of spice (from the basil, do not be afraid to use this flavor, it lends character to an otherwise ordinary fruit blend!)  I let this sit up for a few days, then add in some cool menthol to chill it a bit more, maybe 4-6 drops .08=.10 grams.. Try it out and let me know what you think! 🙂

What a cute, tart flavor, boysenberry! This is the one everyone rants and raves over! I will tell you the best secret with it, too! Keep it on the down low, but less is more with this berry! The ranges of use I have seen, I swear I should be bald! Shush tho, if someone likes this flavor at 3-13%, Bob is Your uncle, not mine! 🙂  So let me get on with this, eh?

When I played the ranges with this cutie, going from 2 drops .04 grams up to 10 drops .20 grams (mind you, my drops are still 50 drops for a ml) in a 10ml bottle; at 2 drops .04 grams, I got a light taste of berries, almost immediately after sitting overnight. So I grab my coffee, and kick back. The next one I snagged was the 10 drops .20 grams for giggles. When I popped it up on my dripper, I didn’t know what to think at first. A bit like chemical candy, with a back taste I did not appreciate. Who really thought this flavor thru, is what I was thinking. However, glancing down, yeps it was the 10 drop bottle, no wonder! A quick cotton change up, and I was back on my way, with a few moments to tell my taste buds to buckle up, let’s find that perfect boysenberry spot! 6 drops .12 grams was still a bit strong, and a touch of funky on the exhale.. so, I went to 4 drops .08, and omgosh.. like someone handed me some berries that could pass for candy, but yet still, that real fruit explosion going on in my mouth! This is it, for me. Your journey might vary!

So now.. for a good recipe to share for tonight, the last one for the day. Let me see what I have in my big notebook; something I really did enjoy using.

Boysenberry Cobbler with Cream 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Boysenberry
6 drops .12 grams Lemonade
6 drops .12 grams Cream
3 drops .06 grams Apple Filling
3 drops .06 grams Crunch Cereal
3 drops .06 grams Cookie
3 drops .06 grams Ginger

Okay now we can taste flavors!! Yes indeed, let this one sit around for a few days to maybe 5 days, at the most, if’n you cna keep your paws off it! I think this is all self explanatory, the apple filling helps to support the crunch cereal and the cookie to create the cobbler! Yes, cobbler taste here! ginger is here, because it just brings out the depth in the cobbler and keeps me happy. If you do not like it, you do not have to use it, but it does make a really nice taste! 🙂

Happy vaping! If you like this one, or have one to share, drop me a note, as I love feedback! 🙂 ~S.

What’s blue and can go squish in your mouth, it’s a blueberry! Flavorah got it right with this one; it’s one of my favorite berries I love to play with I have tossed it into all sorts of recipes and have even used it in sugar cookies, cakes, yogurts and ice creams. Will have to work up my tutorial for adding our flavors to actual food and drink recipes soon, so keep your eyes out!

Before I get too far ahead, let me tell you all about this cool blueberry! at 2 drops .06 grams in 10ml bottles, it’s light, however, if you add other fruits, you can tell it is there. at 4 drops .08 grams it starts to perk up and say hi; it’s right there, the magic begins! at 6 drops .12 grams it’s a mouth full of gorgeous blueberries ready to burst into your mouth, down your chin and make your girl friend gasp! 8 drops .16 grams it starts going funky to me, so I will stop there for now..

Recipes.. I had a hard time picking out a simple recipe, as most of mine are rather complex.. but try this and see how it will spin out for you!

Blueberry French Toast 30ml

12 drops .24 grams blueberry
6 drops .12 grams red raspberry
9 drops .18 grams cinnamon roll
6 drops .12 grams sweet dough
6 drops .12 grams cream
1 drop .02 grams biscotti

Alright, let’s get down to this one.. I didn’t use the full in my face flavor level here for the blueberry, as I know using other flavors, I want to watch how much I use total, and If the blueberry is in your face, how can the other flavors play nice all together? It won’t, it will become a chemical, muted juice real quick!

The red raspberry is added because yes, I love that one just as much as blueberry lol.. it’s also there for a bit of tart and sour sweetness.

Cinnamon roll and the sweet dough go hand in hand together here,  the biscotti I used as an accent for a smoky note for the french toast edges. If you are brave, bump it up a drop! If you want more bready note, remember our friend, ap 5%, use that at around 4 drops .12 grams in your 30ml bottle. I used cream for the whipped topping, however, when it does sit around, it tends to soften the french toast effect. You can add more, but then it’s be a creamy doughy blue raspberry.. gee.. haha! Oh.. if you’d like to really make it pop, add 1 drop .02 grams of pineapple or lime!

Hope you enjoy my recipe for blueberries, and if you have one you’d like to share.. pop it up in comments! ~S.

Blood Orange

OMG!! Finally, my favorite out of everything, blood orange!! Then again, I say this about almost every flavor! I do have a few I have to sit back and say, do I really want to claim this as a favorite? ha!
So, with all that said, let me get right down with this flavor, as it is one of the best representations of the citrus family, with it’s lush bright orange, the bloody sweetness, and the almost candy tones of this one.

Going thru my ranges again, at 2 drops .06 grams, its light but good! Easy on the mouth, but you will need to raise it more! At 4 drops .08 grams, it’s a fantastic blood orange being on the verge of juices running into your mouth, and at 6 drops .12 grams, look out!
9 drops .18 grams, you can probably make aspirin, that chewable kind, combined with Tangerine. Remember, less is more and it doesn’t take much with these flavors, at all! So, let’s see what recipe I can share..

Blood Orange Cake Batter 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Blood Orange
9 drops .18 grams Cake Batter
6 drops .12 grams Red Raspberry
6 drops .12 grams Vanilla Pudding
6 drops .12 grams Caramel
6 drops .12 grams Cheesecake

Let sit for at least a few days, but after a overnight sit you can try it out. Just remember to stop after a taste or two, or you will find yourself with an empty bottle. Go big or stay home!
Not responsible for empty bottles!

Note: I like to add in pineapple, 1-2 drops, to make this pop. it’s optional!

Edit: 5/23/2017 Yet another recipe I want to share!! It’s really simple yet so good!

blood orange basil
Blood Orange Basil Cocktail
12 drops .24 grams Blood Orange
3 drops .06 grams Cotton candy
2 drops .04 grams Marshmallow
6 drops .12 grams Cream
3 drops .06 grams Basil

This is simple, fresh and omg too good. If you want, you can add 1-2 drops of bourbon to this too, for a more realistic cocktail taste. The basil just makes this all come about, so cool calm and a touch of spice.. it’s really a must try! 🙂

Black Cherry

Nothing finer than playing around with black cherry! The drinks and pies, along with creams, shakes, nuts and tobaccos you can dream up, come out amazing! Be careful tho, using too much of this one will result in a chemical and or a mutation, so go easy! This cherry is not for everyone!

Running the range, from 1 drop .02 grams (show some respect for this flavor!) up to 8 drops .16 grams (yes I went there!) in my 10ml bottles, after letting them sit for a few days, 1 drop was very weak, but I did pick up the cherry. At 3 drops .06 grams a spot on black cherry, with skin and a touch of that black cherry body; while 6 drops .12 grams, I can tell I pushed it too much, and picked up a wang to the flavor. At 8 drops .16 grams in my 10ml, I had a definite black cherry with a funky chunky monkey sitting on my taste buds! So my advise is to keep it around 3-5 drops. Pushing it further than this will result in either mutating the flavor as either time goes on, or as a chemical note.

Black Cherry’s Shirley Temple 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Black Cherry
3 drops .06 grams Lime Wedge
6 drops .12 grams Lemonade
4 drops .08 grams Sour Apple
4 drops .08 grams Sweetness
4 drops .08 grams Cool Menthol* Optional

Absolutely perfect after sitting up all night, and gets even better after a few days. I like to add my cool menthol a night before I am ready to really vape this one out. It’s really good fresh, and keeps a chill on this drink vape, just the way I like it!

Who doesn’t like a good banana? Ha! Thousands of ideas run thru my head on this one! From cookies, pies, milkshakes, ice cream, and desserts, this cool and wacky flavor has a place with them all. Let me tell you how I played with this one, mixing it up like I do in 10ml bottles, and running it from 1 drop, .02 grams up to 10 drops .20 grams. The experience is just as amazing from a solo to mixed recipe blends.

Not knowing how it would play, I started testing low, grabbed the 1 drop after a few days of sitting, faint banana, with something in the background. Nice, if it was a bit stronger so I took the 3 drops in 10, and definitely all there! Still, the back note was there, a bit stronger, almost like a smoked effect. After a break with coffee and some cookies, I decided to try the 5 drops, and got a in my face banana with a skin, a ripened skin. Took me a bit to recognize that, as I don’t eat bananas often and I really do not eat skins!! (ha!) However, on thinking now, I think it was those “nanner skin strings” not exactly the skin part, and those string pieces taste just like what I taste on the banana. Sweet banana taste, yummers!! So I really haven’t pushed this flavor too hard, I went for the 7 drops in 10ml, and yes there it was, a chemical taste, not unpleasant, but there. The 10 drops however, the chemical effect was fading out. So a good 5 drops at 10ml was perfect for a solo taste.  On to my recipe!

Banana Candy 30ml

9 drops .18 grams Banana
12 drops .24 grams  Cream
3 drops .06 grams  Sour Pucker
3 drops .06 grams FLV Sweetness
1 drop .02 grams  Candy Roll

Taste just like Runt’s Banana! If you like candy, you will love this! 🙂
Let it sit up for 2 days and then enjoy, not responsible for empty bottles!

Apple Pop

Gee, Apple Pop. This is in my opinion, this flavor I never ever expected to turn out the way it has. As a solo, eh.. if you like sweet and tart apple peels, this is your taste, not mine. However, don’t toss the apple out the cooler because I am not a big fan; you might like this, just as a solo, its limping along. I guess I expected a apple soda or a candied apple. Will keep this short and sweet, heading on to the recipe I made with this one.. 😉

*edited… I used 9 drops .18 grams and then 18 drops .36 grams in a 10ml and both I just was not a fan of.. it could be allergies that have kicked in, or just me.. I don’t know.

Candied Apple Pops 30ml

12 drops .24 grams Green Apple
12 drops .24 grams Apple Pop
6 drops .12 grams Red Apple
3 drops .06 grams Butterscotch
3 drops .06 grams Caramel
3 drops .06 grams Cream
1 drop .02 grams Candy Roll

You could add in malic and citric acid, some vanillin, maybe a light touch of kentucky bourbon, or even white chocolate, there are a lot of options if you think on this flavor that tastes like red apple peels.  🙂

The outcome with this, a candied apple with hints of dulce de leche, after a 2 day sit time. Sweet, but tart with the apple pop. Left to sit for week, it’s beautiful and does change my respect for the apple pop flavor. However, as a solo, apple pop won’t do it for me. I tried. 🙂
